2200 – The TOF series of taps to be used for vacuum, includes various standard and tailored configurations meeting the needs of a modern laboratory, where vacuum is meant as a volume of space that is substantially free from any substance, such that its gaseous pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure.
Usually, vacuum is measured by its own absolute pressure and is divided into classifications: Vacuum – Low – High, with different pressures.
Generally, vacuum applications in the laboratory, require intake of aspiration.
This operation captures a flow of fluids in a partial vacuum, or a low pressure space volume and is used to remove residues or other materials from surfaces, containers, or pipes.
